Review of Bumblebee (2018) by Fraser S — 31 Dec 2018
It was everything I could want. The cybertron scenes were amazing. The CGI in those scenes looked gorgeous. I've been a fan of transformers for about 11 years now. I've been known by friends and family as the kid that knows everything about transformers.
The Micheal bay films have a very special place in my heart. But travis knight nailed it. From the generation 1 designs to the story and the comedy. I love the time period it's set in. I love the cameo of agent Simmons.
I also love how bumblebee is like a scared child in the beginning when he meets Charlie. I think the one thing visually to take away from the movie is the eyes on the transformers. They display emotions so well in a way that blew me away.
You can tell when bee was happy or sad. You could see the look in cliffjumpers eyes when he was about to die. He looked terrified. I can't wait to see what's next. It deserves more then a five star rating.
