It's fascinating to go back and see what kind of politics were put into movies ten years ago, before George W. Bush, 9/11 and all of that.
The Dems acceptance of welfare reform gets played big, as does the Naderite position that the two major parties are essentially tools of the same business interests. Seems like a long way from today when the distinctions between the two parties are portrayed as being quite a bit wider, or at least it seems that way from my point of view.
