Review of Bulworth (1998) by Thomas M — 15 Sep 2009
Hysterical and truthful. Biting and offensive. Brilliant. I loved this movie! Warren Beatty plays a politician who has a nervous breakdown and hires someone to kill him. So, knowing full well he's gonna die, proceeds to tell everyone to **** off.
I love it. Then he meets Halle Berri and falls in love with her. Well who wouldn't? Eric benet maybe. Anyway this movie feels like a fever dream and there are some surprises in store later in the movie.
But everything is just done perfectly. Warren Beattys raps are funny. Or when he just is spouting random things he knows will get peoples irate attention. The soundtrack of rap music is also worthy of purchasing.
Espescially the song "Kill 'em Live" by Public Enemy". See this movie! It's rather good.
