I have to admit at the start that I have never gotten Beatty as a actor or star. I can appreciate him as a producer and director but as an actor he always looks stiff and uncomfortable.

There are parts of this that work, the whole politician just speaking his mind without any thought of repercussions is one but when he starts rapping it becomes dated by 10 years.

This is one of the first big roles for Halle Berry and she remains one of the great beauties of Hollywood.

Interesting when it came out but one that presently loses steam quickly now.
