Review of Bully (2011) by Emilly J — 20 Jul 2011
Larry Clark can make a harsh, violent, seedy film, full of a wide range of actors, scenery, and music... Bully was an interesting movie, but falls short of other Larry Clark movies (like Likes 'KIDS' was an awesome movie).
.. The story is interesting, but repetitive, the pacing lags, and some of the actors in this movie are annoying... Michael Pitt and Leo Fitzpatrick are both fantastic in their roles, they are the highlights in emotional range of this movie.
Their characters are interesting, flawed, and entertaining to see interact. The climax and the ultimate end to the movie were both really good. Artist wise, this movie is a good watch, for anyone else that doesnt enjoy artist films I would not suggest this movie.
