Review of Bully (2010) by Scott G — 16 Aug 2007
Based on a true story that happend in florida, and from the director of the controvershal film kids, larry clerk, brad renfro stars as marty, who with best mate bobby, played by nick stahl, spend there days getting girls, and hustle extra cash, by selling porno home movies, but bobby is basically a bully, using marty as a punch bag, marty hascenough of this and through his new girl friend, gets a gang together, michael pitt, and bijou phillips amoung them in early roles, and decide to kill him, as he seems to be a bad person to a lot of people, if they kill him will they get away with it.
a good small budget indie film here with exellent performances all round, renfro, stahl, pitt bijou, and rachael miner as the girl friend are on top form, realistic acting and a dwn to earth feel, adds to the documrntary feel to it, theres also quite a bit of nudity and sex involved, and vuolence, which adds to the story, good music as well, and a outcome you probely see coming, but it is based on true story, so thats understandable, ac good watch.
