Right from the sexually frank opening you know you're in Larry Clark territory. It's such a repulsive, mygonistic, and pornographic film. Clark's amoral stance on these teens takes on a voyeuristic, paedophilic nature, with him gaining front row seats to his sleazy fixation on the young skin, with repetitious scenes of underage gratutious sex, rape and sociopathic violence, ultimately saying nothing.

'Kids' had an honest statement to make, and opened adults' eyes to a world of teenage promiscuity, even if it was occasionally hindered by prurient Mr Clark's pervy perspective. Here, he's gone overboard.

'Bully' is not brave, or representative of realism. It's exploitative in the worst sense of the word.
