Review of Bully (2001) by Kim G — 29 Feb 2008

I saw this movie a few years ago, and was so stunned that I read the book-- like the next day. It's a true story. Which only makes it 10x more disturbing. I watched it again with my husband. Ihen I watched it again after Brad Renfro died.

Although not everybody will be able to stomach this movie, it is (in my opinion) his best work. It rattles me every time. This movie contains LOTS of the following: Teenage sex, drug use, swearing, sexual, physical, and mental abuse, and extreme violence.

Lots of issues are confronted. Again, this may not sit well with all audiences, but it DID happen and is undoubtedly a movie that will open your eyes.
