Review of Bully (2001) by Matt G — 25 Apr 2008
Very powerful and dark film that pulls no punches. Every character is complex; we feel sympathy for them all. This is very close to how a lot of high schoolers talk and think, which is why it has roots in realism (even though cinematic techniques are still employed).
Very good study of youth.
