Review of Bully (2001) by Mark G — 18 Jan 2010
Great performances all round, especially from Nick Stahl and Michael Pitt. Stahl's character does a U-Turn at just the right moment, and I thought the talent required of the actor to actually make us sympathise with this complete asshole at just the right moment was really something.
What is at stake in Bully is the soul and moral standing of a disinterested, disconnected youth generation. It has high pretensions, but lives up to them.
