Review of Bully (2001) by Unknown H — 24 Aug 2011
An underrated indie gem with lots going for it. I personally loved the dark filming locations throughout, which set a very unsettling tone to start things off. It has a lot of build up from start to finish, when a few friends who are tired of getting bullied, decide to plot against the antagonist, creating the perfect plan to kill him off.
It's a very graphic film filled with plenty of violence, sex, and drugs through and through. Teenagers are often labeled the "rebellious" kind, and this movie just proves that even more.
A strong message is presented here as well, and actually getting me pretty concerned for the well being of our generation. I personally loved this little flick, and if you as well are into unknown indie films, filled to the brim with gritty visuals, I suggest you see this at your earliest convenience.
