Review of Bullseye! (1990) by Adam E — 06 Dec 2010
This starts out an interesting premise of 2 con men looking exactly like 2 scientist who have created nuclear fusion (yeah only in film hey!). So its got roger moore and micheal cane surely a great combination.
....for a while at least. About half way through the heist aspect of this film (which was the more interesting part of this) goes all james bond and turns into a spy flick were the scientists are actually baddies trying to sell there idea to the hightest bidder.
this is were it goes a bit bizzare and very convulted as scientist caine and con man caine and there partners keep bumping into each other and gets to the stage were the scientists are trying to kill them.
so role reversal all the way! The problem here is its far to convaluted with no knowledge of whos who it takes the joy out of it, that and it aint actually that funny! Theres far to many sub plot to do with other characters to! Sure its a giggle or to but with these 2 on board I expected more.
Fun enough but nothing mind blowing (unless you count trying to figure out the plot!).
