Review of Bullitt (1968) by Simon W — 06 Nov 2008
I can appreciate the ground this movie broke and how edgy Steve Mcqueen was at the time, and that in this movie he kind of invented the rebellious cop. But this is Bruce Willis's bread and butter role, and while Steve McQueen may have invented it, Bruce Willis perfected it, and so I have a hard time appreciating Steve's performance in this movie.
There was a pretty cool car chase across the hills of San Francisco though.
