Review of Bullitt (1968) by Bryan W — 25 Dec 2008
Very cool cop-movie. Steve McQueen made the role model for all the "against the rules"-cops that followed. It seems slow, but I really appreciated the mood and layed back style that McQueen brought to this.
The chase is classic but don't expect to be blown away, beacause this is no stunt-fest. But.. I still don't get the connection from the title-sequenc and the actual crime.. maybe if I watch it again sometime.
