A true classic, a well-spun "cops and robbers" yarn that posseses something special - something that is probably due to the era on which it was filmed. A movie full of chases, both on foot and of course, by car which results in one of the best, if not the best car chase scene ever seen on film.
Likeable characters and a script that is paced well round out this classic.
