Great car chase scene. But I still don't understand how the guy who switches identities with Johnny Ross for money wouldn't know his life would be in danger by doing so. As far as the appeal that Steve McQueen has for a lot of people, I don't see it.
But I guess for that time, I can see he was the prototypical tough hero figure for the time.
