Review of Bullets Over Broadway (1994) by Robert M — 21 May 2006
Bullets Over Broadway is one of Woody Allens best movies, The film starts off great and stays that way until dying down a little toward the last 20 minutes. Even though, It's still a very funny movie.
Although John Cusack and Diane Weist(she won a best supporting actress oscar) are good in the leads. It's actually Jennifer Tilly and Chazz Palminteri absolutley steal every scene they're in with very funny dialogue.
The 1920's feel of the movie make the film even better as we see how Broadway and Society alone were back then. Woody Allens direction is good, the writing is superb and the acting(specifically Tilly and Palminteri) is good.
