Review of Bullets Over Broadway (1994) by Matt A — 03 Jul 2007
Apparently, I do not understand the appeal of Woody Allen's films. I've yet to see one I thoroughly enjoyed. The acting and story in this were simply mediocre, with the actors talking over each other incessantly, overacting (even for actors playing actors) and wandering around the sets like drunk zombies.
The saving grace of this film is that we don't have to deal with the neurotic whining of the writer and director.
