Review of Bullets for the Dead (2015) by James R — 27 Sep 2016
I found the movie pretty disappointing. For starters it's a western with modern English which clashes with the classic look and feel of the period. The acting isn't incredible but what ruined the film for me most off all was the foley (sound effects) which sounds like it has a slapback delay on the tracks.
I've done foley work for film and have no idea how they managed to mess that up! I've heard this on movies before, more particularly old films from the 70's & 80's but with today's audio technology there's surely no excuse for releasing poor quality work.
I'd pass on this to be honest folks, waste of £8. Indie horrors used to be pretty good a few years back but now they are extremely poor, of which ASDA seem to stock a lot of which is where I pick up these terrible movies.
