Review of Bulletproof Monk (2003) by Mike K — 10 Apr 2008
Dismal action film with cheap looking jump on the bandwagon wire fu. A tragic waste of a good cast and idea and a surprisingly poor debut for Paul Hunter whose visually impressive music videos hinted at potential feature film talent.
Much like Joseph Kahn, Hunter will need a better 2nd film if he is to join the ranks of former video directors turned A list directors like David Fincher and Francis Lawrence.
