Review of Bulletproof Monk (2003) by William T — 22 Sep 2009
From the first batch of dodgy special effects through to the final anti-climax of an ending, this film just reeks of absolutely terrible. The characters are two dimensional and irritating and almost all of the dialogue is on the nose and vaguely insulting to anyone with more than half a brain cell.
This feels a little bit like someone has created a crap love child of Rush Hour and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. It can't seem to decide when its a comedy and when it isn't - and most of the so called jokes are annoyingly predictable.
I think what I hated most about this film was everything, and now I can't claim that bit of my life back. I think I'll never watch Seann William Scott in anything again; that's the lesson I've learned from this evening.
