Review of Bullet Train (2022) by Nnogohko — 02 Sep 2022
Aaron Taylor Johnson and Brian Tyree Henry are the standouts in the film where there are many high profile actors. Their back and forth banter is really fun. Brad Pitt is also great but he isn't in the film as much as I thought he will be based on the trailers.
He was really funny too. The twists and turns are surprising and some of them are clever but as the film enters its final act it just became a CGI train fest and it kind of took me out of the experience.
I really wish the CGI for the final act was better. It's a fun enough film but I don't think I have to see it again.
