Review of Bullet to the Head (2012) by Cameron Liam I — 07 Feb 2013

I actually went to the cinema to see another film and got the times mixed up, so I had a choice between this or Movie 43. This seemed like the best of a bad bunch so I gritted my teeth and went for it.

To be honest, it's not a bad film at all. Yeah, it's got tons of cheesy one-liners, plenty of cliche fight scenes and the plot is predictable but it's great for an hour and a half of escapism. It won't leave a lasting impression other than a passing concern for Stallone's health - he really is too old for this now. One more fight scene and he's gonna need a hip replacement!
