Review of Bullet to the Head (2012) by Hunter K — 07 Feb 2013

This movie is basically the Sylvester Stallone version of Killing Them Softly (2012) with a plot that flows like a video game; there is a cutscene between Stallone and his temporary partner discussing who it is they are going to kill and why, and then the action starts. Rinse and repeat. Overall, this is a decent action movie without much substance that also continues the recent film trend of making New Orleans look like Boston in The Departed (2006) or The Town (2010), which is becoming a very negative cliché.

You'll like it if...Die Hard 2 (1990) is your favorite of the Die Hard movies.
