Review of Bullet to the Head (2012) by De D — 07 Jul 2013
Swamped in 80s cliches, sleeze, and cringe-worthy dialogue this is an entirely forgettable entry in Stallone's career. The final axe battle with Jason Momoa (who is great), was easily the best part of the film and had great choreography.
Sung Kang who I've generally liked is awfully bland in this and can't hold his own with Sly. The violence is hard-hitting and sounds like it hurts, but the script and wannabe 80s noir feel to the film drag it through the mud.
