Review of Bullet to the Head (2012) by Jeremiah B — 10 Jul 2013
Good ole Sly back on the silver screen, but even though the film came out in 2013, it felt like the 1980s! A nice shot in the arm of nostalgia for Sly fans of his action films from the 80s. Snappy and silly dialogue, over-the-top music, hard action and a plot nobody cares about, Bullet to the Head is ripe for the crowd who want to see 90 minutes of Sly kicking ass.
Here's the best way to describe it: If you've ever seen It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's take on Lethal Weapon where Mac and Dennis make their own version, it's almost spot on. Go check it out.
You're better off watching that then watching this movie to understand what I mean than reading this review.
