Review of Bullet to the Head (2012) by Cyb D — 18 Jul 2013

I liked this movie because it was simple and fun to watch. The movie actually took me back to the old school action films where the storyline was pretty straightforward, the filmmaker didn't try and be too fancy in telling the story, and the acting was solid.

I think the reviews that were more negative didn't look at this as a retro action film, but as a 2013 action film, which I think is a mistake.

Also, Stallone (though hard to understand many times - due to having marble mouth) has great timing and is just a great character, no mater how old he is. The film is violent, but that is good, and the special effects and stunts were great!
