Stallones first original role, outside of The Expendables, in 9 years (Spy Kids 3D) is an enjoyable if largely predictable affair. Stallone gives good 'hit-man out for revenge' and the deep south setting adds an atmosphere all of its own to proceedings.

Its good to have Hill back behind the camera after a decade or so directing TV, and its clear he can still put together some well choreographed action scenes, just a shame he can't get a decent performance out of Sung Kang whose largely expressionless and emotionless throughout.

As for Momoa he lends a level of menace to every scene he's in, all he needs now is a decent lead role to really show off his chops. This is enjoyable saturday night fare, its not going to rank as one of Stallones classics and will probably end up as a foot note in his career but he still gives good bang for your buck.
