Review of Bullet to the Head (2012) by Elian D — 22 Aug 2013
Nice old fashioned buddy-cop-style movie. Stallone's still got it in him to get you to believe his "bad-assesnesss". The ending is a bit below the rest of the film, but that doesn't hurt it much.
It is also nice to see a "80s aging action star film" where they acknowledge the age issue without turning it into a lame recurring joke, as Th Last Stand, The Expendables, Indiana Jones 5 and Die Hard 5 did.
There are a few things that rely on luck, and very minor plot holes, as is usual with these films. Also, Slater needs to return to acting classes, and Momoa could use a few classes himself, but that's the worst that can be said about it.
In all, very enjoyable.
