Review of Bull Durham (1988) by Craig F — 30 Mar 2008
Not really as funny as I expected it to be. Tim Robbins is pretty great, but Costner is quite wooden, mostly getting by on good looks and charm (we all know what happened after the good looks started to go a way.
Sarandon is...so hot...in this movie. But I digress.... I like that it is a sports movie that focuses more on the relationships between players than the "the run for the championship against all odds".
All in all, a decent movie.
