Simply put a really great baseball film. Even if you don't like the sport, the dialogue is smart enough, the sexual tension is strong enough, and the humor consistent enough to still engage you. And of course if you love baseball, you've already seen it.
Costner and Robbins are priceless together and Sarandon gives off a sexiness that is unconventional yet charming.
