Review of Bull Durham (1988) by Joe C — 27 Dec 2009
Maybey its the lack of any intrest in baseball in this country that makes it hard for me to see why this comedy is so critically acclaimed but then again that didnt stop me enjoying dodgeball. It has some great laughs theres no doubt but it all seems like a little bit of a waste of time, the main problem is that its strong points are its funny points, but too often they are not thick and fast enough, when it tries to be more serious it doesnt work because there is no real reason I can find for empathising with any of the characters.
Unless your a hotshot, a hasbeen or a whore ...
