Review of Bull Durham (1988) by Cedrik C — 14 Mar 2011
In the 1980s there was a complete dud in Hollywood getting handed parts like he worked at Auto Zone. His name was Costner. He's the one reading the cue cards. In this particularly movie he's a professional athlete that weighs 120 lbs.
Beyond that this is a good flick, the dialogue outweighing the baseball action. Robbins and Sarandon are both hilarious and have a ton of chemistry. Susie steams up the joint, I don't care what team you play for.
