Review of Bugsy (1991) by Justin R — 01 Nov 2007
Comparisons to other "ganster" films are a bit absurd. Bugst is meant to be a character-driven movie, and in this it succeeds quite well. Beatty proves that he's one the finest actors of his generation; Bening matches him every step of the way.
Watch the film if for no other reason than the scene in which they first meet. Absolutely classic.
