Review of Bug (2007) by Jared M — 25 Aug 2008
A top notch film that depicts the descent from paranoia to madness. It was very interesting to watch the heroine slowly give in to the delusions of a near stranger, You begin to trust the softspiken gentleman, so when the bugs begin to appear, his conspiracy theories are more plausable to the audience than they should be.
We get drawn in right with the Ashley Judd character and as a viewer you are left to decide whether you are going to buy into the bugs or not. Those who were disappointed with the amount of thrills should see it again with a different mindset.
It's a slow build until the climax when everything comes unhinged.
