Keep in mind, this movie is based on a play. It takes a long time for things to finally get started and it's next to impossible to like any of the characters at first. But the performance of the actors within the film is quite good.
They are very convincing in their expressing of a downward spiral and I would recommend this film for actors. I feel William Friedkin did an excellent job directing this movie, but it by no means an AMAZING movie.
Probably worth one watch, maybe 2 but certainly not 3.
