Review of Bug (2007) by Natalie M — 23 Aug 2009
Tracy Letts is a brilliant writer, and although I think he did a better job with the play than the film, I still greatly appreciated the movie. Very intense psychological drama that is completely character driven.
Ashley Judd did a good job with the complicated role of Agnes. Her monologue at the end definitely deserves applause. Michael Shannon deftly walks a fine line between subtle creepiness and complete psychosis.
As a viewer, one feels dragged into the insanity with them.
