Step aside from the camera work, the visuals, and even the acting, this movie falls short. The characters are not very well-developed, the story has a habit of jumping around, and nothing really makes a lick of sense.

I don't even know how to explain this movie to people. I just don't understand Ashley Judd's character...at all. It says that she is a lonely waitress, but yet she has friend named RC. Hell, they even kid around about having lesbian sex so I don't see how she is "lonely".

Is she lonely that she doesn't have a man in her life outside her abusive ex? Well, I suppose that's understandable, but still at least you have someone to talk to. What also don't get is long is she exposed to the war veteran who doesn't hide the fact that he has mental issues.

Is this going on for days? weeks? Months? How long? Looking at this from a psychological stand point, I suppose a situation like this can occur, but it doesn't happen over the course of TWO WHOLE DAYS! Still, it was twisted, dark, but because the audience was never given a moment to relax or really laugh at anything at anything (which is what you are suppose to do even in dark movies like this), this movie turned into a dark comedy.

Of course, it doesn't that some of the dialogue is absurd. "I AM THE SUPER MOTHER BUG!" Um, ok, sure you are. Listen, I'm going to give the name of well established psychiatrist, and maybe she can help you, ok? If you want to rent, or buy this movie, I suggest you do just for the behind scenes footage.

Don't worry, the movie itself won't cost much. I bought a copy for $2.50, but it was worth it just to watch the extras. So, if you are not a fan of twisted movies, avoid this one. This is not Ashley Judd's shining moment, but she did a good job none of the less.
