Review of Bug (2002) by John M — 09 Jul 2012
Director William Friedkin (The Exorcist) dares to go where no other filmmaker would've gone in this disturbing, claustophobic thriller from Tracy Letts's play that shows the horrors in your mind instead of outside of it.
Michael Shannon (Take Shelter, Revolutionary Road) reprises the role he did on stage in a noteworthy performance that will get under your skin. Be warned: you will never want to go to the dentist after seeing this.
