Fascinating first half, but after all the talk about bugs starts, it just gets too weird to put up with. Great work by Ashley Judd (in the parts that I managed to watch that is) and Michael Shannon is downright creepy.
I didn't even recognize Harry Connick Jr. as the abusive ex. He usually plays such nice guys! Even though I had to turn it off half way through, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see some powerful acting and doesn't mind a story that is completely off-kilter.
