Director William Friedkin, the man responsible for making a 14 year old Linda Blair ram a crucifix into her crotch, brings us a portrait of quite possibly the most delusional and self-destructive couple ever put on film.
Being afraid of bugs is one thing. Thinking they're living in your flesh is another thing, but cutting up your body to prove they exist is something else entirely.
