Review of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992) by Jack G — 23 Nov 2009
This is ripping the guts out of something. It's like watching a cool fetus ripped out and turned into a mix of volleyball and shit. Or, to put it another way, it's similar to the terror that many fans had over the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie: it got (some of) the words, and zip of the music. Only Rutger Hauer comes out unscathed; his scenes might be the only halfway amusing ones, perhaps just because he said 'piss off' to the hack director and did it his own way.
Oh, and did I mention Kristy Swanson isn't an actress but a plastic sex doll?
