It's a shame you don't get to find out more about Leila/Wendy - she seems a bit of a cardboard cut-out/fantasy figure but I suppose that fits the mood and theme of the film. She is impossibly nice.
I enjoyed this a lot, a basically fairly harmless loser who actually lucks out and may have hope for the future... who can't identify with that.
