Review of Buffalo '66 (1998) by Julia H — 03 Sep 2008
I love this film. Every shot is just so crisp and beautiful and purposeful. Every movement so right, from the girl's jiggling breasts in the dance class to Billy's angular running style with the red boots.
That pose of the girl sitting in the bowling alley with the blue tights and dress - a beautiful shot. The story is also poignant and despite the unlikely scenario, is actually, very perceptive and very real.
