Review of Buffalo '66 (1998) by Diane A — 17 Apr 2009
Unique, fantastic directing is the main attraction here. The acting is flawless, Ricci looks great and the pairing of Huston is a nice nod to The Addams Family. Rourke's casting is perfect and the dialogue fits well.
Despite the films many draws the banality and disgustingly depressing subject and setting makes it extremely difficult to watch, not unlike An American Crime.
