Review of Buffalo '66 (1998) by Nat G — 08 Feb 2010
First I am amazed this film is written, and directed by Vincent Gallo, who also plays the leading role and did the soundtrack as well, he also uses his parents house as the main location, it's more or less a home made film, but to a very high standard.
Buffalo 66 is a strange film, it's meant to be a comedy, but it is very dark, and very creepy. I found it hard to watch, the main character Billy is very hard to like, and this film is unlike any I have ever seen.
I don't really recommend this film although I understand that it's an important piece of work, it's just not a fun ride.
