This is what suburbia is, incredibly real. I crapped myself just feeling the emotional tension created by the situation and circumstance that the main character created for himself. This is real dysfunction - there is no happy ending at the end, it is stark and vast like the scenery it is shot in.

who would have thought Buffalo can create any emotion as a city - well in the right hands it delivers. Ricci and Galo were made for each other in this movie and although their characters are not endearing in any sense, you can't help wondering if your own life is just as existentially fucked up as well.
