Review of Buffalo '66 (1998) by Steve R — 24 Jan 2010
This is a hilarious and mildly disturbing film. Gallo is a talented actor with a wonderfully realistic contemporary style and presence which works so well on the screen. Ricci continues to choose unique and risky roles set outside of Hollywood.
The story is simple on the surface, but has so much lying underneath that a wonderful tension is mixed with the dark comedy.
