It's hard not to make this documentary work.
Cuba and its Cuban people and its beautiful Cuban music and Cooder talkin here and there-- it's perfect.
It's made of pure passion. The material is so rich, though to the filmmakrs' credit, Wenders and his DP did pull off some grandiose steadicam shots to give life to the entire thing. This is a treasure for fans of really really good music.
