The best documentary I saw at True/False, "Buck" is about Buck Brannaman, the inspiration for "The Horse Whisperer". Most of the year he travels the country putting on clinics to help people train their horses.
This is a first time director who filmed dozens of hours with an experienced editor who gets this movie down to 90 minutes. A very emotional, effective 90 minutes.
If you kids can handle an animal film in which some of them don't make it, take them. They will be entranced. You won't be sorry.
